To provide a foundational overview of the master data and technical objects utilized in SAP Plant Maintenance.

  • Implement Best Practices for Structure and Design of Technical Objects and Planner Roles in Plant Maintenance
  • Create and Maintain Construction Types, Assemblies, and BOMs
  • Utilize good notification and catalog code design, data accumulation techniques
  • Define when to use Serial Numbers and Equipment Types
  • Use Basic Warranty Functions in SAP PM
  • Implement guidelines for use of various SAP Material Types
  • Explain the key differences between Demand Planning and Reorder Point Planning
  • Implement Order Design with Multiple Operations, understand when to use components versus objects
  • Be able to execute PM Order Reports using PMIS
